CM has a softer suspension and for the less "young" people (me) entry and comfort are much better. If you want (and can drive) you can go fast enough:bigger rims and top tires.
But the "little" is faster and nimbler. But a BMW M3 is even faster.
So it's up to you.And if I were still 21 aso I choose the smallest.

Good choice, I think you'll really enjoy your countryman. It's plenty quick and practical. You can always add power, but you can't really add room. leaning seats forward to squeeze kids into the car seat gets old really fast. Plus it's nice to be able to take adults with you if you want.

Nice! I think they did a great job with the JCW exterior. Just enough aero to give the car a low, aggressive stance, but not so much that it looks "bolted on". Rocker panels are nice and tight to the body, and the rear valence around the exhaust pipes really buttons up the rear end.

enjoy....!

Congratulations on your choice!

I just picked up a new Countryman S with auto as my daily driver. I have a 370Z Nismo for my "weekend" car and my wife drives a CR-V. I bought the CM for the utility.

It's way faster than the CR-V and a blast to drive. I'll acknowledge it's no hardtop, but that's what I have my Z for.

I think you will be quit happy with your choice.
