Mini Cooper Trailer Hitch

I am a new 2008 Mini Cooper owner. Absolutely love the car. I am a para with a wheelchair and a handcycle. I love to ride and need to take my handcycle. Has anyone bought a trailer hitch for a mini to haul a small trailer? The handcycle is too big for a regular bike rack. There are several tow bars advertised on line.

Thank you.

You may want to check out this site. We get a lot of parts from them.

I had a MiniDoMore hitch on my previous Clubman. Easy to install. No issues with it the 4 years I used it

I had a Mini Do More hitch on my R53 and was going to install one on my '13JCW. The installation isn't bad but the drawbar is cumbersome to insert and secure. For a para crawling around on the floor to install the drawbar on a regular basis would be annoying ar best. If you leave the drawbar installed, no problem. For regular installation/removal the minifini is probably better. The feature I liked best on the Mini Do More hitch was it was invisible with the drawbar removed. It hauled our 4x5 utility trailer well even with 800 lbs of concrete in it. A bike trailer would be cake.
