Huh?

Just traded my hardtop for a roadster. Anyone have recommendations for ear protection? I've seen Alpine MotoSafe and Liberty DefendEar online but seeking first hand knowledge.

Many thanks!
Mike

Ear protection, while driving? I would want to be able to hear outside noises like maybe a car horn

You shouldn't Need hearing protection while driving your roadster - not loud enough.

Driving my jeep wrangler with 35" mud terrains - soft top up or down, doesn't even come close to warrant hearing protection.

In my Roadster, my wife wears earmuffs if it's cold, but I drive top down at all speeds and in most reasonable temperatures, and have never felt the need for more than a woolly hat. I certainly don't think ear defenders for noise are needed.

I don't know that it would even be legal to wear ear protection while operating a motor vehicle.

in my crazy motorcycle days I always thought it was funny that my BELL helmet was for racing use only and not certified for road use because it blocked hearing too much . . .

Just get a louder audio system to help cover the road noise. LOL!
Forget the noise, how does the handling compare?
