Driving lights question
OP
try replacing your bulbs with an after market. I use SilverStars and find them a significant improvement over original lights ... there are many other brands.
A 'problem' with DL's is that 99% of them are improperly aimed ... once aimed they are EASY to knock out of aim.

as for driving lights going out of alignment......it shouldnt be a problem as you shouldnt be using them when there are other cars on the road anyways....i know my lights are 'technically' out of alignment.....i dont have mine aiming straight, i have them aiming to the sides and up.....im illuminating the sides of the road to look for deers, and im illuminating the tree canopy to bounce light to supply overall fill.
