Westchester Mini in White Plains: Service Dept. Experiences Please

Hi all,
It appears that I have to bring Jeeves ('07 MCS) into the dealer to have a heat shield installed. Do any of you have experience with Westchester Mini's service department (they are closest)? Are they in the habit of finding other things 'broken" and repairing them without asking the owner? I have an extended warranty, if that will be any help, as I expect them to fight me on anything they do for me.
Also, do any of you recommend (or run from) Fairfield Mini or Prestige Mini in NJ? I bought Jeeves at Prestige; the sales people were nice, but I have no idea about the service dept. Never dealt with Fairfield Mini.
Thanks for your help.

WP Mini parts dept is great, I buy parts from them because they offered the discounts with out me begging for them so when I don't want to wait for parts to be delivered I just go to them and the prices are close to others, note that you have to got to the BMW building for service instead of the MinI showroom, I can tell you that they are better than Manhattan MINI.
All dealers will Lind extra work that needs to be done but they DO NOT repair stuff without an OK from you.
As for the service dept, I guess they are ok.

I would recommend Prestige MINI for your service, call Rick Torres SA he is very good and has help me a lot in the past year, nice guy

Good luck
