NEED SOME HELP, I spilled...

some gas just under the gas cap area but on the actual paint. More the pump than me, but I'm a bit worried about the paint. A few things:

-it's metallic paint with no scratches or anything there
-I have the zxilon coating and it's less than 8 months old
-I did back to back touchless washes about 10-15 minutes after it happened

Should I be worried? Anything else I should do?

You probably did not hurt the paint. Washing that off was a good thing to do. The longer something like that stays on the paint the more potential for harm. Not sure what zxilon coating is, but my guess is the gas washed it off. I'd treat that area with a good wax.

+1 Agree with ashchuckton. It's extremely rare for a minor gasoline spill to seriously damage the factory paint on any modern car, with multi-part urethanes, clear coat layers, etc. If it did, almost every car would have paint damage under their filler caps.

Wipe it off with a clean towel/rag, rinse it off if was sitting on the paint for any length of time, and just apply a coat of wax to the area. It will be fine.
