Yesterday my Mini was finally registered, inspected, and fixed up enough to drive around! 
I saw a yellow Mini on the road this morning, but alas the driver was not looking my way when I waved.
Oh well, another time.

Had the windows on my 2010 MCS tinted: Doors 20%, Rear x3: 15%
A few days before that I installed the blue LEDS in the footwells & the MINI Emblem Projection Lights in bottom of doors & the chrome metal door lock pulls.
And the night before that I installed the contrasting roof stripes.
old MINIacs to keep the wave alive by always waving at my fellow MINIacs.
Had the windows on my 2010 MCS tinted: Doors 20%, Rear x3: 15%

Unfortunately I do not have any pics of my MINI to share at this time. He's a bold Chili Red 2012 JCW Cabrio with Satellite Grey interior and a happy face GoBadge on the grill.
On a side note, when I wave and I don't get a reciprocal wave it is my theory that:
1. Due to the reflection on the windscreen they cannot see me
2. Due to the reflection on their windscreen I cannot see them wave at me
3. Due to the rapid rate of closure, when one waves at the opposing vehicle, they may have waved back but sadly won't be seen as they have already passed behind you.
These I believe are valid "excuses" as I often cannot see someone clearly until they are darn near next to me due to windshield glare or "atmospherics".

We picked up our MINI two nights ago, affixed our LXM sticker and started waving. It's a great feeling when the mutual wave happens. It was especially nice when the first wave was from a mirror image of our car. Really made me smile!
