Hey guys,

I'm a new member but longtime reader. I had changed my CAI about 4 years ago to a system that uses a bracket. So the whole airbox had to be removed. Somewhere along my cross country move to Los Angeles I seemed to have lost my stock 2007 cooper s airbox. The aftermarket intake is a smaller K&N kit and the bracket broke. I recently got the K&N Typhoon system that brings the added boost tubes and power. When I went to install I recalled the airbox was removed and I need the lower half of the airbox to install the Typhoon system.

This may be a long shot but, DOES ANYONE HAVE, OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS, A STOCK R56 COOPER S INTAKE AIRBOX FOR SALE? NEAR LOS ANGELES WOULD BE BEST, BUT I CAN PAY SHIPPING IF THE PROCE IS RIGHT. I don't want to go through my Mini dealer cause its pricey and I believe they try and sell the whole system, filter and all. Trying craigslist and eBay but nothing at a more reasonable price than what I'd get a the dealer. USED OR NEW IS FINE.

Thanks. Found one. Called a local Mini Performance shop and they had one a client left after an aftermarket CAI.
