Cleaning/protecting headliner
Cleaning/protecting headliner
I chose to stick with the beige headliner and got the polar beige colorline for my CM because I didn't want so much black in the interior. I still like my decision, but today in a rental car, I noticed the headliner was beige and had a few black marks where careless drivers had bumped stuff against the A pillar.
I figure eventually, that will happen to me, either in the headliner or the area where the doors are beige.
Any suggestions on good methods or products to:
I don't have the car yet and don't recall enough about the material from the test drive and in looking what the material is made of and how easy/difficult it looks to do preventative measures or cleaning.

- Protect it (like Scotchguard or simlar?)
- Clean it after the fact

I have the same setup in my 2012 Countryman. It's Cosmic Blue/White outside and it has the Carbon Black Lounge Leather inside with the Polar Beige color line and headliner. Since the color line parts in the door panel are hard plastic, a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will work just fine. For the headliner, if necessary, you could try a diluted Simple Green solution blotted on with a soft cloth.
