Hi! I'm a newbie to this site & looking for solution. Had my mini in for body shop repair & the guy said that the passenger airbag light is on. I thought it was always on since I bought it used at Carmax. He said that I should take it to the dealership & get my insurance to pay for it. My independent mechanic told me to bring it in this morning to check it out. Who would you trust?

 

If you need a new seat sensor that will not be good news, a new sensor is expensive good luck.

 

I hope that Carmax will fix it for you I think that it could cost you somewhere around 600.00 to 1,500 to from buying the seat bottom with the sensor to having the dealer do it for you different people quoted different prices in the forum, mine comes on from time to time I just wiggle the cables under the seat and it goes away, your case could be different.
