Is there a place to buy gear shift **** inserts? I want to make my own wooden *****. I love the Whalen's but just can't justify the money. So I'm thinking if I can get the parts to attach it to the shifter, I can turn something cool on my lathe. My son has a CNC so he can help with any detailing on top that my crazy mind can come up with. We'll see how this all works out.

Maybe I should do that for my shifter. I'll just have it higher than my roof. Actually I did that as a demo art project in my classes for a 7th grade project.
