Snap Adaptor for Iphone

I just bought my first mini - waiting for it to be delivered. I have an Iphone 4S, is the snap adaptor for the arm rest a good investment?

Depends on if your car has the smartphone prep option. I ordered my car with it, and now use my old 3G as an iPod. Workd pretty well.
