I've had an '82 Rabbit, '88 Cabriolet, 88 Fox Wagon and 2001 GTi 1.8T. I knew by then that if VW didn't try to re-enter the small car market, I'd be moving on.

I had the GTi for 12.5 years.

I agree with the keep it small sentiment. I really wish they would consider something the size of the Rocketman. I've always driven "smallish" cars myself. 84 GTI(the most fun I had in a car until the MINI), a 88 Honda Civic CRX SI, 2000 Beetle 1.8 turbo.

I looked up new inventory at three dealership in my state and they only have just a couple of Clubmans. Still you can configure one online.
