Coveting Thy Neighbors Toggles

I wish MINI was bringing the Paceman's toggle layout to the other R5X models. I think that's a much smarter set of controls to locate there.

No one else would rather have sport mode, stability control and traction control located as a toggle?

I do like the layout better, but not as much because of the sport button/traction control being on the list, as much as I like the window's being moved away from behind the cup holders.

Normally, I won't allow eating/drinking in the car, but as I've come to commute to a new job, I find that my water bottle or coffee mug get in the way of window operation, which is annoying. For that reason, I'd like them moved.

How are they going to sell rear fog lights to Americans if there's not a hideous blank switch spot staring back at you if you pass on them?

Ha!

Yeah, assuming that they DON'T change to the newer layout, I will totally be spending the extra $100 just to plug that hole.

That's the only reason why the rear fogs was a requirement when I was looking for my car.

They've already gotten $200 of my hard earned dollars on 'em. Probably the #1 reason I wouldn't buy off the lot at this point - dealers around here never order with rear fogs. When I browse the inventory online I always check the interior pics first - generally it goes: "Eew... Blank fog switch hole... Eew... Manual A/C..." :(
