I had my Timing chain/tensioner and guide replaced about 4 months ago... recently i heard the rattle again. it's unmistakable.

has anyone here had to have their timing chain tensioner changed twice? is there are law/rule regarding how many times something can break on a car before it's considered a lemon?

 

I wonder if they used the same faulty tensioner. When I had mine replaced at the dealership, the used a different part. Said the tensioner was longer than the one that was in there. I haven't had that horrible rattle since. I feel your pain though... Good luck.
