someone from MINI Corporate drove in while I my MINI was in for service and the staff went nuts taking pictures of the GP, good entrance
it looks really cool

 

I just noticed it doesn't have a rear wiper.

Definitely not the MTTS car. That pre-launch car did not have a GP2 interior.

Might be an auto show car, or for general MINI USA promotional/press use. There is another one in Chicago this week for the local auto show.

 

Looking good, I just got a call on Friday from MINI Headquarters about my GP that I ordered. I was told that there will be numbers on them and it will be here 1st or second week in March. Woo Hoo!!

When are GP2 delivery's beginning in the US? I know that RHD ones have already been delivered in both the UK and Ireland.

Where would the number be? I did see any numbers on this one but then again I didn't look since it was way to cold that day and I just ran outside to take the pictures very quickly lol

 

They're on the roof, just behind the driver, I believe. Basically as you walk up to it, you can see the number.

 

Set price no options other than the number. I was told they were putting the number on at the port before they are shipped to the USA. I was told that my car is at the port ready to go I should have a Vin number in a few days
