recalls and its impact on your carfax.

Does anyone have an answer as to how recalls and major work done as result of service bulletins affect your Carfax report?
My 2012 All4 went in for the temperature sensor recall and ended up getting a new gearbox, differential, main computer, as well a some wiring harnesses and control modules.
You can read about it in the R60 forum of you wanted.
Its my car less valuable because the work was done?

I doubt the recall would have any impact. Most car buyers should probably figure any vehicle out there may be subject to a recall. Main thing is that you had it done so the buyer doesn't have to deal with it.

As far as the other work, buyers will probably fall into one of three camps -1. oh noes, lots of work done, I ain't buyin' it; 2. cool, lots of new parts that should last a long time that I don't have to worry about; 3. meh, whatever.

personally (if I were a possible buyer), service records showing recall/TSB work already done is a PLUS since those are issues that theoritically should not come up during my ownership.
