Visibility Issues
Does anyone have problems being seen. I have an Indi Blue 2003 R53 and it seems no one can see me today I had two motorcycles pull out in front of me, and I mean stand on brakes to avoid hitting them the first one looked at like I was in his way and the second did not have a clue. I have had this happen before, but both these events happened with in a mile of each other. Is this just a Tucson issue or does this happen elsewhere. Are there lights available that can be mounted on the bike rack?
I run with my DRL on all the time, so haven't had this problem.
Then again, you're in Tucson. It's snowbird season.
Lots of visitors that tend to be on in years... (Mother-in-law lives there, so I've got a little bit of exposure to Tucson and their...unique driving environment).
Old folks (no offense to anyone), minimal street lights (concerns of light pollution for the observatory), major college with teenie boppers running around at night and streets that, at some time in the past, were wagon trails that meander around things rather than go straight.

I posted on this some time back. I was keeping count, when I got to 14 incidents I just stopped counting. I always drive with my low beams on during the daytime hours. Seems like people think we can be bullied or something. At first I thought it was me, but I stay at the speed limit or under in town. I don't understand it either but just use caution and be watchful of side roads and streets. Motor on!
In Canada DRL's are required by law, but I don't think it's ever enforced.
I have an Astro Black Mini, and dummies are forever turning in front of me.
I don't know if it's cus my black car blends into black pavement - but my lights are always on. Or karma for driving like a jack *** sometimes.
I honestly think idiots just see a small car and assume it's safe to get in their way cus they think we can stop on a dime, and if we hit them, it's our fault, and it'll just ding their door.
I'm installing LED's on my car and a set of air horns.

Doesn't make much difference with age. I live in a popular retirement town, so stupidity just happens slower.
I drove an Isuzu cube truck several times. Had someone do a U-turn on the highway, right in front of me. Don't know if the BIG white truck a foot from their bumper made an impression.

Some LED's or at least the low beams would probably be a good choice. Thanks for the recommendations. I have the air horns but I have usually adjusted for the other vehicles before I remember to use them. Plus there are a lot of guns in Tucson, haha
