So I was doing some work on Boo and noticed she has a rack and pinion leak, and a few other small things wrong with her, and thanks to that 4 year 48,000 mile extended warranty I purchased when I adopted her, I called my nearest MINI dealership....Omaha Nebraska..

Has anyone here on NAM, had any experience with this dealership....Are they a good dealership?, good or bad things I should know,....For one NO loaner program...:-(...Can anyone shed some light and help me out, so I do not became one of the HORROR-story dealership victims and go in there blind.

I have had some minor work done by Markel Mini in Omaha and was not totally disapointed. Oil Pan gasket, Oil change and passenger side Air bag light diagnosis. They treated me with respect and did what I had asked them to do. I had asked them not to wash it but when I picked it up it was still wet in the door jambs so i know they attempted to clean it. Todd Thompson was my SA and he seemed knowedgable about Mini's. I have a few friends that are very happy with their Service Dept and one that was not so happy about clutch failure under warranty.

 

Our experience with the service department in warranty work on our '09 hardtop and our '11 clubby has been positive.
