It depends. Are you ordering or buying off the lot? 2012 or 2013?

My MA offered me $1200 off the price of any mini on the lot or any mini that I ordered. He also offered higher amounts off demos on the lot. That was in addition to the $750 voucher. So in total, for my custom ordered Mini, I received $1950 off MSRP.

To get the best deal I suggest you talk to multiple dealers.

I was able to get $2050 off MSRP (2013 countryman order) not including the $750 deal.

But with a 6-10 week window, depending on where you're located, you should make sure your dealer will honor the $750.

Since I did everything via email, I have it in writing that my MA said Yes to using the $750 and just placed my order on 10/22.

Seconded! I contacted 11 dealers in total and ended up with a great deal as well.

I wish I spent more time calling other dealers, but apart from Austin, all the other dealers are at least 2 or 3 hours away. That's probably why Austin refuses to budge from MSRP.

Distance doesn't really matter because you can always have the car shipped. My best deal was 1,500 miles away and my local dealer matched it. If they didn't I would've had it shipped, because even after $600 or so for shipping the price difference would've still been worth it.

Has anyone been able to negotiate below dealer invoice?

The best I've seen/heard was dealer invoice. That is of course excluding the voucher.

OK, so first round of negotiations and I'm only able to get $750 on top of the voucher. The dealer is lumping the $750 voucher into his offer and saying they will give $1500 off MSRP. I'm shooting for $2000 and they are not budging . I'm trying the "can you match offer from XXX" game now, but I have only been able to get the same deal from all the dealerships. Waiting on a couple of replys.

Also, I registerd for the voucher this weekend and on Monday morning the voucher was in my email "inbox"!!! nice

I was able to get $1666.50 off MSRP on my build, including the $500.00 off they said they could give me considering I missed the NOT NOR MAL event.

I wouldn't expect too much more off. Unlike American car companies which have all sorts of dealer holdbacks and other incentives, it's my understanding that BMW/MINI do not do this with their dealers. Invoice price is pretty much what the dealers pay for the car. If they sold it to you for that price they would make no profit. Seems like a poor business plan.
You probably could get a better deal on a 2012 sitting on their lot, but for a new 2013 order your above deal is pretty good.
I don't know where you live, but in many parts of the country the MINI dealerships are very far apart and so their is little MINI competition. That will tend to make your offer hard to negotiate.
