3m di-noc vs 1080 carbon fiber stripes
I need to replace my racing stripes. I am planning on carbon fiber vinyl. Looks like the two popular ones are Di-noc and 1080. Which one do you guys recommend? Easier to install?
I've been reading about the differences because I'm planning to wrap some of my interior bits. It sounds like the Di-Noc is thicker and harder on complex angles, while the 1080 is thinner and designed specifically for wrapping cars. I also read that the 1080 has better UV protection, so should hold up better as stripes.
The only one I've worked with is the 1080, so I can't say for sure which is easier to work with, though it sounds like the 1080 is because it's more pliable. I plan to buy a roll of the 1080 to start wrapping stuff.

I replaced it with 3m 1080 carbon fiber wrap. It was a ***** to cut the stripes perfectly straight. I recommend using a large paper cutter.
I took awhile to remove my old stripes. But with wd40 and a little bit of patience, it came off smoothly.
