Also still have 3 in the stable and adding a fourth. Hated selling the 2 others.

Car covers are worth their weight in bronze (gold would be severe hyperbole). Good ones will last about 3 years before they start losing their waterproofing.

I was expecting more people with just the 1 well loved MINI. I'd guess they might be intimidated by all the multiple owners here. I'm interested in the statistics, so I need the single owner's to chime in. I wish they allowed polls around here.

On my 2nd...

I've only had my CM for 2 months now but I had my previous MINI for 7 years. I hope to have this for a quite awhile as well.

Wow so many multiple MINI owners...that's neat!

Almost 2...my ordered CMS All4 has been "at the distribution center" (according to the OL) for 5 days?? Jeez.

My 2008 R56 was ordered as well...sold last month. Really miss seeing it in the garage.

Just the 1 for the last year. There will be others I think. Might go to a Clubman for the next as my kids are getting bigger. Love my Mini.

I would have kept the '06 for a lot longer, but I wanted more power and Chili Red

Getting all the options on the '13 that I wanted....I will hopefully have this piece of automotive perfection for 10+ years.

 

If you beleive the statistics, the answer to my question is we're on the upper end of normal. The distribution of MINIs goes something like this:



11% of respondents have had 5 MINIs, not many (4%) have had more than 5. I'll keep the graph updates.

2 for me.. 2002 and 2003 Coopers. Still have them both

 

Four so far and another in the near future.
1. 2006 R53 S-Ordered from scratch, drove it around 25K miles, then sold because I had one too many cars (also had Cayman S and Audi A3 then).
2. 2008 R56 S-Traded the leased A3 for it, missed the first one. Having had both generations, I will always say I prefer the R56's, to each their own. Sold it outright while waiting for the next....
3. 2009 JCW-Ooh yeah. Ordered from scratch, all red, great car, drove it 31K miles, salesman at dealership for #4 bought it from me.
4. 2011 JCW-Cycling buddy was now manager of the new dealer in town and made me a great offer to update. Ordered from scratch, custom leather interior done locally, one of kind awesomeness now at 24K miles.
5. 2013 GP2-on order from my friendly local dealership, expecting it in January. Will either trade or sell #4.

 

Only one so far,,,but we are just getting started!
