Painted my tires...

Hot tires by Dupli-Color. Was kind of a pain to get the paint pen working but got easier as time went on.

Thanks! Got the idea from the old NASCAR cars and the Super GT cars in Gran Turismo

@nabeshin I'm hoping it holds well. I did a test letter and let it dry a day. Scratching did take it off a bit so I guess I will avoid scrubbing curbs haha

I like the look too. Very cool.

Nice to see a carbon fiber hood that fits as well. Did you have much trouble with the fit? I heard they can be a pain.

Yeah the carbon bonnet was a pain in the *** to install. It's a Seibon which I was told fits better than say a VIS. However, the Headlight holes weren't quite the right size and the holes for the mounting studs were not even to close to where they needed to be. Needless to say, it's a little nerve-wracking having to file your brand new carbon hood.

I painted the rims on my Chrysler neon gold. I started with gold calipers, and those looked amazing. Silver car, silver alloys, gold calipers (and drums).

Paint your calipers gold. it'll be a start. just make sure you get the right shade, not too orange, not too yellow.

Very nice, love the "competition" look!

Please keep us posted K20K1LLA on the longevity of the paint if you would.

it needs to be reapplied once in a while, I think the heat and flexing of the tires causes the yellow paint to discolor and degrade.

Be carful when pulling up to the curb - don't ask me how I know.
