Probably because hardly anybody ever ordered it. Besides my Clubman, I think I've seen two, maybe three other MINIs with the English Oak. I've never seen a dealer stock car with it. I agree that it's sad to see it go, but if you really want it your dealer parts dept should be able to help you out.

Ah, I didn't know the '13 was up online.

Looks like they brought back Highclass Grey for '13. It was previously only for early '12 models, and late '12 Clubmans.

I have it, love it! I ordered my 2011 S, but they had an S convertible with it on the lot when I bought my car.

Mine has the fluid silver panels. Thinking about going English Oak myself. 2 dash panels for 300 doesnt sound too bad.

Why is it that when I go to the configurator, I'm still seeing the same prices on the S Coupe and the JCW Coupe ? I'm pretty sure the prices were going up so doesn't look like I'm getting the 2013 models. I even deleted cookies thinking it might be a problem.

I was going to say it doesn't look like the JCW has been updated.

Interesting for the Cooper is the Green Park and Hyde Park packages, Peper white with a green or hot chocolate roof, also paper white surfaces.

I have always wanted BRG with English Oak and Brown (Toffee) Leather seats.
By the time I'm actually in the market for a new MINI the English Oak might be back.

I have it and like the English Oak. But it does look a little plastic. I wish I could get real wood. Although I am sure the price for it would give me a heart attack.

Oh yeah, real wood would be awesome.
I would also like a wooden motor boat or yacht...

My MA told me it was real wood, but I figured it couldn't be until I removed the door handle during a speaker install. When you look at it edge on, it appears to be real unfinished wood. The coating gives it the artificial look.

it's called "genuine english oak" and it's real wood, not plastic.

Really? It's real wood? Feels/looks like plastic to me.

I have it in my Clubman. I think it's a nice compliment to the Hot Chocolate Metallic.

It's covered under a protective coating. If they didn't do that it would dry out, blister and splinter.

I've seen some wood trim that's not under a gloss coating, and it has held up fine, but needs frequent cleaning. It looks and feels stunning, however.

Mini probably uses plastic with a veneer, right? The Goodwood probably uses the nice stuff.

Does anyone have a good picture of the English Oak- perhaps a closeup and an overall picture. I'd love to add it to my convertible.

I went with brg with the English oak but I stuck with black seats and the black headliner. I love the English oak.

Real wood? Really. I will have to look into this. Sure doesn't look like it.
