Mini Donut Spare Tire

For all in search of a source for a donut spare tire just search out your local junkyard. I was able to find them for under $10 and in perfect condition. Question....will a 14" donut spare work on a 2007 R56 back? Or does it have to be 15"

Here's what I did, I did buy the factory donut wheel ( I believe $125.00)

but I went to my local Ford dealer and paid around $25.00 - $30.00 for a

new Ford tire (same size as the MINI tire) that the parts man got out of

their dumpster. It even came with the Ford rim that I sold for $10.00

By buying the MINI rim I knew that it would fit both my R53 and JCW

R58. On the R58 you can only use it on the rear and you must use a

15mm spacer for it to clear the brakes.

Got the factory 15 " spare from Detroit tuned for $115 and all the parts to install($60) in the place where it is made for it to go. Total cost $175 for great piece of mind.

Would you happen to have part #'s or a reference as to where I could find them please?
