Lights & dash gauges do not work!!!

Lights & dash gauges do not work!!!

Can someone please explain why my headlights, and every single gauge on my dash have stopped working? Is this an electrical issue?? Sorry I'm no mechanic....could really some advice. Thank you

How old is your MINI? Do you still have the original Battery? Seems like that is the reason everyone is having troubles with no lights and no gauges.
