So I dont get on here a lot but from time to time I try. I lurk a lot :( Minis just are not my specialty so I dont have a lot to contribute.

BUT....I have a set of these I made for my truck and my wife wanted a set on her Mini. It was a challenge because there is SO little room between the caliper and rim. Eventually though I did manage to come up with something on the CNC and got it all buttoned up and working. Just in time to because were off to a car/truck/bike show this weekend.

Anyway, tell me what you think and if you like it and want a set, just LMK. The work is already done in CAD and the CNC is programmed. It doesnt take much to do more sets for anyone who likes it.

Its all weatherproof by the way and wireless remote controlled.

Are they so you can clean your wheels at night when it's dark? JK
I think the kids at Starbucks at night would laugh me out of town. Those type of mods don't really fly on the West Coast as they do in the South.

 

LOL....I hear ya. Ive got a friend out in south Cali and he is always giving my a hard time about my truck. They are more into sports cars and imports whereas out here we are the opposite. So I know what you mean. The wife cant quit smiling about her lights so I guess thats what counts.

 

I am in NorCal so plenty of trucks here to, lotsa lowered Dually trucks, hot rodded Diesel trucks and small wheeled 4x4's with a sag to the tail end trucks. (I always wonder why they lower the rear like 5 inches lower than the front) I guess the Mexican lowrider Lincoln 300's and Dodge Chargers/Challengers with 22 inch wheels use those LED lights here. Back in the day the "Fast and the Furious" crowd were into them too. I'm just really into the stock sleeper look, I guess.
