Hello!

When reviewing the miniusa.com website and specifically a JCW Hardtop the JCW Aero Kit is listed as standard. However, when building a JCW Hardtop on the miniusa.com website there is an option for "JCW Aero Kit Cooper S" for $2,182.00. I would have assumed this option would be "grayed out" if already standard on the JCW Hardtop. I'm wondering if the site has a glitch and this is an option for the MCS series only? Anybody have the 411 on this?

Anybody have insight regarding the JCW aero kit and whether it's standard on a JCW hardtop or not? I'm getting conflicting information from various websites (including the Mini site, which says in the specs that the JCW aero kit is standard, but then it's listed as $2,182 when I try to add it to my JCW Hardtop). Thanks!

 

Don't think it's standard. If it installed on a JCW, it would be marked accordingly on the window sticker as an "option"

 

Aero kit is standard on all JCW's, even Clubmans now.

Yep, it's standard now.

 

Although standard on the Clubman JCW, the factory may not put the JCW Aero kit as shown in the picture - they have sent at least two 2012 Clubman JCWs to the states with the older style side skirt aero kit.

 

As fun as it is to play with, the MINIUSA configurator tends to be a bit buggy. As I write this, it shows the JCW Clubman with the aero kit, but only when viewed from the rear. The front view still has the S front bumper and no side skirts. And yes, it also shows the aero kit in the accessory section for $2182.
