Best Driving roads in North America
Anyone else ever done New Mexico 15 from Silver City to Gila Cliff Dwellings?
It's my favorite so far. Finally took the Mini through it this weekend. Lots of nice 10-15 mph curves, no centerline, very few guardrails.

Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper in Alberta, Canada:

I have driven this road and the scenery is just out of this world. To me personally, the best driving road in North america by a long mile.

Here's a URL that should be standard equipment with every MINI.

ALL of US101 from the Cali/Oregon border to the Redwoods...fantastic. Too bad it's nowhere near me, and I didn't drive it in the MINI. When I get back to school this fall, I want to drive part of the Natchez Trace Parkway:

It's a very limited access National Park road that runs from Nashville, TN to Natchez, MS

SoCal roads
Our Socal MINI club just did a run yesterday over some great roads. Highway 33 north of Ojai (Condor sanctuary) all the way to Highway 166, then Cerro Noroeste Road to Frazier Park. Great scenery and twisties!!
Maryhill Loops Road in central Washington
For a better picture, search for this on Google Maps:
Maryhill Loops Road, U.S. 97, Goldendale, WA
BTW, it's a private road and you have to rent it by the hour. And our local MINI club is doing it this summer!

In CT, I usually like to get lost in the East Heartland/ Colebrook area. For pure speed, try Route 11.
In MA, Take Exit 2 off I91 and go to North Adams. That's a pretty cool road
Also, VT RT 104 near Mad River Glen is pretty cool.
If you want a taste of the Rally style road, go find Butter Road in Henniker NH and try to drive it at speed.

Have to speak up for California. Highway 1 from Cambria to Monterey is not only one of the best drving roads in America, but in the world. Check this site - http://motoringconbrio.com/great-dri...ads/#Southwest Lots of great roads all over the country on this site.
