I am in upstate NY, Saratoga area, anyone have comments on the quality of the service at Keeler Mini in Latham NY ?

I may do the timing chain/tensioner, but want to be sure before I have it done

Also, any recomendations for other service providers ?

 

What year Mini and how many miles? Warrantee? Since you are asking, I assume you didn't buy your Mini from Keeler. Your screen name indicates maybe an '07? If that is the year, then have you checked to see if that work was already done? Or are you getting some indication that it needs fixing? My '07 was fix very early on.

I have used Keeler since we bought our '04. We have bought 3 Minis from them. They have been good to us. They have recently changed out the service staff and I have a few "wonders" if they are the same as they were. I expect they will be good. But, expensive if the work is out of warrantee.

With that said, if the car is out of warrantee, then you might want to try an independent like Anker's Auto or German Auto Haus.

None the less, get some quotes.

I've been there once or twice when I used to live in the Albany area. They were very good to me, and even went above and beyond what I expected. I would be 100% comfortable having them work on my cars again.
