I have also met some pretty terrific folks through my Mini Motoring Club. This little car has simply added a new dimension to my life, and I so appreciate it. Never enjoyed a car so much

Life is better with a Mini in it

For the record, I was trying to introduce a little humous irony by letting Hobbes do the talking. I'm with you GMM. I'm enjoying the whole experience immensely because that's what it is: an experience.

Gotcha, love humorous irony!

Didn't think, with a name like "Hobbes" you'd be a killjoy. Miss that comic strip immensely!

Come on now. We are not all like you or some who agrees with you. Did you expect everyone to agree with you? Although my initial reaction was "WOW!", i could careless if you and others celebrate your MINI's "Adoption date".

Didn't expect every one to agree. Started thread just to see who did and who didn't. That is all....

RJKimble,
Been looking at lamps (driving lights) for the grill. Maybe I've not said the correct terminology, when I say lamps. Are those what you mean? If so what have you decided on? Will you install yourself? Thanks.

I got her her new shoes (with wheels) for winter. What gal doesn't like shoes? This year she may get an early gift of a rear sway bar.

I've been a nut with all my cars. Most have had names: "Jinxie" "Wilbur" and "HERTSI". My last 2 cars (2009 Mini and 2006 Saturn Red Line) weren't named however. I don't know why. I jumped back on the bandwagon with Jack. It's fun. And it isn't just Mini people who are nutty with it. My boyfriend has named all his DSMs, but for some reason he didn't name his current Mitsu EVO.

ok, with her 1 yr. Adoption Anniversary fast approaching, I broke down and order checkered sunroof graphics to round out her checkered theme (mirror caps, scuttles, floor mats, badge). Now to find an installer, or do ourselves if it's fairly easy

Still going to get her more stuff with the dealership $100 GC I won at one of my club runs gotta spoil em the first year!!!

Happy New Year, my friend!!
Happy New Year to you too Giggles!!

Well come that time I hope to have $500 in MINI Mula to help offset the $$, she'll be needing Front Brakes at the same time, I'm also going to have the Transmission Service done too...not going to be cheap, but for Molly...she only deserves the BEST!!

Got Giggles new shoes a couple months ago! Swapped out 16" RF's for 17" all weather Conti tires, and black Enkei rims. She loves them! Looks just a bit more aggressive with the black rims... she is quite the Tomboy
