For starters we're having steam clams in butter and sake, assorted selection of cheeses and crackers and Cranberry spinach salad. For the main, Beef Wellington with cut potatoes, french cut green beans with onions and mushrooms, rolls. Dessert will be homemade spanish apple tarts and Cheesecake. Others were invited to bring whatever they felt like to add to this.

I'm a foodie, so for me my early Christmas present was a new BlueStar range and putting it to good use today!

After dessert, we'll then be doing our annual Christmas partner swap.

 

Cornish game hen if the little buggers thaw in time.

 

The usual, turkey, stuffing, gravy, ham, macaroni and cheese, cranbery sauce, yams, collards, green beans, rolls, potato salad, etc. I'll most likely stuff myself just like every year before.....

Actually, spiral ham, yams, etc. Nothing super fancy but we like it.

 

Roast!! And more of the delicious candy from my Mom (fudge!) and myself (white chocolate chip cookies and my Great Grandmother's caramel!). Nom nom nom.

 

Soup! Chicken and potato soup, and french onion soup.

Unless we wind up going out, in which case we'll have the soup tomorrow.

We will be having a traditional English Christmas dinner. A standing rib roast, veggies and Yorkshire pudding. A Trifle cake for dessert along with other tasty treats. Also, munchies before hand and pasta for the kids.
