Hey All,
I just hit 35,000 miles on my 08 mini cooper S.

I thought 35,000 miles was a larger service job. When I picked up my car all they did was change the oil and rotate my tires. (which stressed me out, I can rotate my own tires...UGH).

I figured the service was going to be more intensive at 35,000. Maybe including a break change, new air filter and such.

Does anyone know what was done to their car at 35,000?

I don't think there is such a thing as a 35K service?

The service you get is condition based on what the OBC says. If you have brake pad warning then you get brake pads... if no warning then no brake service etc.

Some items such as wipers you may need to complain about in order to get them changed depending on the dealer.
Don't assume anything!

Last service I had the SA asked about the wipers... or really he prompted me to say something about them.... I said I want them replaced (which I assumed would be done).
He wrote up on the ticket "Customer says wipers are streaking"... I got the impression they would not have replaced them if I did not bring it up.
Now when you get out of service and/or warranty then that will be a different story I'm sure.

 

Closest I got was a service at about 30k. And it was pretty much just a look-over of the vehicle.

 

Inspection 1 is done at 30k. The rest is Years, 2 for brakes, 4 for coolant, and condition based.
