I just bought a set of replacement Jet Black mirror caps off ebay for my '07 PM/B MC. The left cap was badly scratched when I purchased the car back in August. Question is...How do I change them? Is there a trick to getting the caps already installed on the car off? Any help will be appreciated.

 

Use a butter knife or other blunt blade, and start at the bottom of the cap. As you pry the cap gently away from the body, the mounting tabs will disengage. You can also look at the new caps to get an idea of where the tabs are
