Aquapel

Any of you folks use the Aquapel on your vehicles?

http://www.aquapel.com/What-is-Aquapel.php

Now that winter is around the corner ... well at least for some of us ... and the season will get wetter and darker earlier, just curious to see who is using ...

I have been using this for years and apply at least twice a year. Works good.

Aquapel work great, just don't inhale the fumes and use disposible gloves. I have found that after treatment you can practically turn the wipers off above 40 mph as the rain runs off well enough to see without them. There is a phenomena that occurs when the glass gets worn that causes water to practically stick no matter how good the wipers are. One application of Aquapel cures this problem for at least one or two seasons.

The only issue I ever had was trying to apply an excessive amount to make it last longer. Then you can get a buildup that can can be seen an an angle.

Now I'm curious; how does it stand up to driving in heavy snow? Rain is one thing but melty snowy mess is brutal, especially the super-wet stuff that likes to build up on the edges of the windshield, the top of the wipers, etc.

It also makes removing snow/ice much easier when cold.

RainX & Aquapel sure don't beat just turning your wipers on in the rain. Save yourself the money and get good wipers, keep your car generally clean and use your washer fluid when it gets bad.

I have Rain-X on my windshield, and at freeway speeds, it works better than wipers.
