Question about painting chrome mirror caps?
Hi:

Has anyone attempted to paint their chrome mirror caps or had them painted professionally?

I am getting mine recovered with vinyl for about 40 dollars

any body shop can scuff those mirrors up and paint them though

Chrome caps are really quite expensive. If they are still in good shape, why not just purchase a set of primered caps from MINI to paint ?

Thanks guys for your input. Going to check with my dealership to see how much a set of primered caps would cost.

@jdub2K5 I am thinking of going the vinyl route as well. Let me know how yours come out?
