MINI Website Outdated

Am I the only one who thinks it's bizarre that they're selling 2012's and all you can configure on the website is 2011's? I ordered a new MINI today and never was able to see exactly what is was going to look like. What in the world are they waiting for in updating the website?

Same thing back in July of 09 when I ordered my 2010. 2010 web configuration wasn't online until after my 2010 was built in September.

This has been discussed in other threads, but to summarize:

MINI has always been slow to update the site for the new model year.

At least they warn you about it when you make a car.
