Has your MINI.....

fallen short of, met, or exceeded your expectations?

I'll go first. My MINI has far exceeded my level of fun expectations. Especially when I consider that it is front wheel drive and an auto. Most of my fun cars have been RWD and manual. I also love that it is not too low to the ground. Some sports cars have the feeling of driving "under" other cars. The MINI's upright design is great. Really I could not be happier.

I have had my 2012 for exactly one month and I could not be happier. It has exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I got mine with the JCW tuning kit and JCW suspension, and it is amazing to say the very least.

I have read this forum top to bottom for 5 years in preparation for my purchase, in which time I was somewhat scared from reading all the negativity. Once I got my car, I realized that most of the complaints were either simply non-existant or way overblown. The "what you hate about your MINI" thread contains numerous examples of people complaining about issues that amount to fabrication and hyperbole.

There is no other car that I would prefer to drive anywhere near the price range of the MINI. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Love it!

I had high expectations for mine and it has met them. I love it. I gave up a lot of horsepower when I traded in my previous car for the mini and other than the hp, I am happy with everything else.

My MINI has met and exceeded my expectations. In addition, my husband, who thought that it was just going to be a boring little car, absolutely loves driving it!!

Like most people who have never been in a MINI, I thought that it would be cramped feeling inside. I knew it was fun to drive, but I never thought that I would be driving my MINI with my hiking gear inside instead of my SUV. Everyday I seem to discover new things about this car that make it not only unique, but exceeding my expectations.
Better gas mileage than I had expected, more head room inside than I had expected, and more attachment to this little car than I had expected.

I have a 2012 R56 and love it. It has met all my expectations and then some!

It's great in all departments: ride, quick and tight handling, comfort, and gas mileage. Not to mention it's stunning looks too.

My 2010 Clubman has far exceeded all my expectations, roomy (I'm 6'2"), sporty, great MINI community, and rekindled my love for driving.

My 2012 MCS has exceeded my expectations in every way. I have owned a lot of cars over the years and the MINI has by far the most fun factor. It has brought back the fun that is missing in the new bigger and heavier performance cars. I look forward to driving it every single day.
