Clicking sound??

Clicking sound??
All,
I have my first Mini S and has the convenience package (may be relevant). When I open my door I hear a constant clicking sound start. Mini dealership did not know what this is. Is it due to the convenience package and the car "sensing" my key?
Sure it is normal but curious about it.

A few months ago I noticed a clicking sound I think coming from the CD player. Happens just after I open the door and get in. Sounds like the head moving and trying to find a track but I had no CD in at the time. After a few times of hearing it I put a CD in. The noise went away and I forgot about it until now.
