Seattle area Mini repair
Just curious if any of the Seattle area Mini owners have had their cars serviced at Broad Stroke in Snohomish? I probably should have asked this before ...but I took my car there last night. I have had no problems, I just looking for feedback. Thanks
You might ask at the Puget Sound MINI Motoring club forum.

I live in the Magnolia/Ballard area but work in Bothell so depending on the convenience factor I will go to different places. I've been to Woodinville Sports Cars. When I first bought the car I had the radiator and water pump replaced and the supercharger looked over. These guys did a great job and have since sent at least one of their mechs to Mini training. Since so many are now out of warranty I guess they expect more business. The guys there are more than friendly and they also have a racing history. The race prepped Jag in their showroom is offered as evidence. I've also used Scott Sherman Auto Repair (Magnolia/Interbay) who seem to be equally knowledgeable and friendly. They also use a point system for future discounts. Both of these places are constantly sending me coupons and such. I've gone to Exhaust Specialties in Ballard for a cracked header. This is an old school shop run by an old school guy but he really knows his stuff. Don't expect special treatment here. In fact expect some ridicule. He damn near told me to leave when he saw I owned a Mini! Tight spaces are not his idea of fun. After some discussion we both tore apart my car so he could weld the crack. On any given day you can see Roy working on anything from classics to exotics to full on hot rods. Not sure if this helps but the only time I bring my car to a shop is if I cannot do the work myself or the job needed is too daunting.
