The decade in retrospect...

Hard to believe it's been 10 years to the day that I licked a stamp and sent an envelope with a $1000 deposit to a dealership that was yet to be built and that would offer cars that very few if any had actually seen "in the flesh"...377 days later in July 2002, I took delivery of my PS/PS MINI Cooper S.

So over the past 10 years, I've had the distinct privilege of working with a great group of folks in the MINI and Mini community worldwide who volunteered their time and effort to create clubs, events, and websites of varying degrees dedicated to the MINI way of life.

Digging through my personal archives, I've put together a collection of images that may invoke some memories of the past for some and an awareness of the past for others...enjoy!

It's always fun to look back and see how our enthusiasm for these cars has brought us to places and introduced us to people we would have otherwise never met; it hasn't been a decade yet but I can already say it's changed my life.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

It's been 9 years since I bought a little yellow model Mini, and then the 1:1 scale model shortly thereafter!

Thanks, Craig! I've got a few of those on T shirts along the way, and I really appreciate all your hard work on the designs and the printing.

I've met a lot of wonderful people because of these funny little cars, but no one nicer than Cooperation!

This is absolutely unbelievable! All of us owe you a huge debt of gratitude, Craig, for giving the MINI community a graphic identity that is unlike any other I've seen. To think of the many hours of work these designs represent! It's amazing.

Of course I see a number of designs there on which we have collaborated and that makes me smile. It has, and always will be, my honor to know you and work with you on the many projects we have shared. And hopefully, someday, I will get to meet the man behind the curtain...the Wizard of MINI. Thanks!

That is an impressive collection, to be involved for 10 years + is most excellent.

I hope you continue to provide such great work to the MINI folks, I sure appreciate and enjoy your contributions.

Thanks for the Sunshine MINI logo and shirt designs.

Also, thanks for the help with the logo for my Library of Motoring website.

That blew me away, Craig! Congrats on the 10 years! As others have said, you have given so much to the MINI community. I agree with Chuck that I would like to meet the masked man behind the curtain someday just so I could thank you in person for all you've done. You are absolutely awesome and it's been my pleasure to work with you. Nice to see some of our work in there!
