What to do

Here is my predicamentand I thought of no better place to pose this then to a
plethora of MINI owners.

I am about to receive a substantial insurance settlement from an accident. The current car has to be replaced. It literally hurts my back to drive it for any distance. My wife and I are set on a CM. (R60) we are going to place our order upon receipt of the settlement. I know that there will be a substantial lag in time. Do I have the dealer sell me a MINI to hold me over and then trade it in when the new one comes in. I can't hold on to the current car much longer. It also needs ork that I don't want to put into it. What to do????

Thanks for your assistance.

Order it now - pay for it later ........ Rent a car for the month or so if needed...... or buy and resell a beater........ borrow a friend's car........ walk......... take the bus....... ride a bike.......... ride a scooter or motorcycle.......

I hope you were not maimed for life man. Getting money in today's world almost certainly guarentees that you were. Good luck to you sir.

You're gonna lose quite a bit of money buying one as a temporary only to trade it in for another when your new one comes in. If you really can't war, I would find one that's specced as close to the one you want to keep and hang on to it.
