This is my first post on this awesome forum. I've spent countless hours on here since I decided to purchase my Mini.

I should be taking delivery of my first Mini next week! I'm trading in my 1.5 year old Lexus (which I hate) for the MCS, and can't wait.

I'm a big believer in extended warranties, and would like to purchase one for my Mini. I know typically best prices can be had at some dealerships that sell the warranties for substantially less then most dealers.

I'm interested in purchasing an extended warranty and extended maintenance.

1) Any caveats I should be aware of?
2) Are there any dealerships that are known to have great pricing on these?

Any help would be appreciated!
