Wow, I honestly did not think you would fit through the truck and the guard rail there at the end! Haha that's probably because I, myself am still getting used to the fact that my MINI is so small! I fold in my mirrors too when I have my doubts, especially when parking. I find it so awesome that in my drivers seat I can reach over to the passenger side and pull in the mirror! Brilliant.

The other day in traffic I had a simular situation happen where I had to "squeeze" myself through a car and the curb while getting into a right hand turn lane when the other lane was backed up. I said to myself, "oh sure I can fit"... so I pulled up slowly to fit myself through, and in the middle of the mission, I was like, "oh my god, I'm going to clip the person next to me..." because I didn't want to curb rash my wheels/tires. Alas, I managed to fit through just fine!

Everytime I get in to back out of my driveway, I'm totally amazed at feeling so in control of a vehicle. Driven lots of vehicles and have never felt such amazing visible clearance. No shifting the body to back out or trying to see out the rear window or checking 3-4 times for clearance. Just pure driving ease. Someone who has never driven a MINI would have no idea what a difference there is. People just see a small car but to be in it and feel the visibility, is like no other car.

The moment I knew I made the right choice in my MINI is when I SMOKED the car I was considering buying (RSX).

I thought the same thing! "Oh ****...what did I get myself into" Was going through my head the whole time.

I'm glad yours has good rearward visibilty, trying to see out of the back of the R57 is a serious PIA (only with the top UP of course) so you have to rely on your rear-veiw mirrors.

Driving with the top down, it is an incredible feeling. Parking, this car is so easy to park, and I have had a lot of small cars, this is the best. Handling, I love driving it.

I parked the other day in a parking lot in town that had the cement blocks in front of it. I pulled up and was worried that I was going to hit it...so I just inched up and stopped.

Got out of my car and I had a good two feet before I was going to touch the block.
