Lounge Leather

I have searched the forums concerning the quality/durability of lounge leather. It seems it was a topic of conversation 08-09 but so much recently. I was wondering if the same concerns over wear and stretching are true. This is the last choice I have to make between lounge and punch.
To me the seats offer two different feels. Punch is more sporting and seems like you sit in the seat, were as, lounge is more relaxed and you sit on the seat, if that makes sense. I obviously have not been able to spend much time in either.
I like both but if one offers more durability, I like the idea of longer lasting version.
Thanks

I have had my Mini with Lounge leather for 10 months now and the seats look like new. If you are hard on your interior, any material will show the wear- leather, cloth, or vinyl. Leather does need to be cared for. I bought mine with Lounge leather because I wanted Tuscan Beige, and Im glad I did. It is a softer leather, but its very comfortable.

Tuscan beige is not lounge leather. Lounge leather has piping around the edge and is pleated. But as long as your happy, who cares

Lounge is the way to go...

I know it is a painful $2k upgrade, but I have no regrets in ordering/paying extra for lounge leather. Everyone who sees the car for the first time comments on how classy and stylish it is - not to mention, they say "can I sit in it?". Perhaps they would ask that anyway no matter the interior choice...
