Crazy question, and I have no idea if this is the place for it. I am looking at a used sun shade that I could potentially have my sister pick up for me in another city. The person selling it said it came from a 2007 cabrio and MSRP'ed at $40. That price confuses me. Anyway, I was wondering if the OEM shade has different designs for different models/years. I dont think the refresh for the cabrio happened until 2008 and I would be getting this for a 2011 Clubman. I only want the OEM one because I want a perfect fit.

What part is the sun shade covering? I thought they were for the rear side windows. Won't a cabrio be way different than a clubman?

 

The sun shade I am referring to is for the windshield. All the windshields appear to be the same size....

 

Should be no problem, it will work well enough.
