Pano Roof

I have been a Mini (S) owner for a grand total of 3 weeks. I have a 2005 S and I was wondering if the back roof pops open or if it is static. I've seen some that it will pop opened to vent but I have yet to figure how or if the one I have will do it. What is the indicator of a functional back pano roof?

I believe you're seeing second gen MINI's where the back pane is operable. First gens, no.

Nuts! But it's not earthshattering. I still enjoy the heck out of driving it. I have a 3 hour each way trip to Burlington, Vt to buy a set of wheels and tires and then see some friends that I haven't seen for years up in the Stowe area. It will be the first "long" trip for me and the mini. I am looking forward to it.
