It just feels like Mini is losing its direction

02 brg cooper here. rides a lot stiffer and way more fun compared to the newer ones. i really am ot happy about hte new cooper looks. just doesnt tickle my fancy

. I also looked at the Countryman in some detail at MTTS. Most of what I saw exuded with MINI coolness, which I believe will make this rather unique vehicle the most popular MINI in the US. The All4 S version was sporty, and the size of the vehicle seemed just right for daily chores. Let’s just say the Countryman may just be the first maxi-MINI. It basically looks like a Cooper on steroids.

Keep in mind MINI has to build cars that will appeal to people in over 50 countries. This is a difficult thing to do for any car company. MINI is a world-brand selling to people who appreciate something more than mundane transportation. And on that note I give them an A for their effort.

At least they didn't give us a "perfume dispenser" like the Fiat 500..........have one of those in your car , THEN try to tell someone it's not cute
