(MINI) Coopers & Corgi's

I was just wondering how many other folks out there are MINI owners and also owned by a Corgi (Pembroke or Cardigan, its all good!)? I know there are a couple of Corgi owned folks out there from the messages in the other threads but I was just curious how deep the obsession ran!

Does anyone out there have experience with teaching their beasts agility? I would like to start that with my two younger ones so they can get their exercise in since they have grown tired of ball & frisbee chasing. I've looked for classes but living in the boondocks, none were found so if anyone knows of some good videos, please pass them along.

Please, by all means, post your Corg and Cooper pictures, I can't get enough of either!

And I'll start it off with pictures of my three:

This is Harper (a rare rescue Corg)

This is Dudley the destroyer of indestructable toys, I once bought one that claimed it could withstand the most serious chewers and he destroyed it in less than 15 minutes

And finally, Bridget the camera shy!

Cheers!

I don't have a Corgi, but I think yours are really cute. I do have a little rascal that can chew up most toys quickly, I bought her a Crazy Critter thing I saw on TV that has lasted better than any cloth toy I've ever seen, as I remember you got 2 for $10, she has had it for 2 months and it still in one piece. It is her favorite generally gets chewed on 4 hours a day.

Well thanks, I think they are good looking myself, especially my girl Corgi, but then again it is possible that I'm a bit biased!

Dudley is the very destructive chewer, he was going through a tennis ball about every week and then I found ones made by "ChuckIt" that are made of a fairly tough vinyl. Those have lasted almost 4 months now. I had to replace one that Dud managed to chew a hole in and one because he lost it in the woods (sometimes they get a bit lazy and wont play their part in the game of fetch), but I don't think that is too bad. One type of ball that I found that both dogs love is made by NiteIze and is a lighted ball. It is great for use during the time of year where daylight is at a premium. The light in the ***** is pretty bright, enough so that when they got buried in snow drifts, I could find them. My only complaint is that Dudely chews hard enough that eventually he will pop the plug out that holds the led module and batteries and then I have to search for everything and put it back together so we can keep using it but eventually I'll end up not being able to find the parts or the LED module gets beat up and quits working. I've written to the company about these issues and I did get two replacement ***** as well as two extra LED modules and associated holders and plugs. These would probably work great for dogs that aren't as aggressive in their chewing and they sure look neat when you're playing in the dark!

I think you already know I do.

I think you already know of my Mario.

My Mario likes the thing called "Kong". You put a Milkbone in it and he tries to get it out. Well, He now has it down to a science and usually gets it in around five minutes. It does not take him long to figure things out. If I knew how smart he was I would have left him living with my neighbors and not have him move in with me. My neighbors got him from Corgi Rescue, They brought him home. They let him out to Pee. He found my dog door and ran in and jumped on my lap. He never wanted anything to do with my neighbors again. That is how I ended up with my Mario. I guess he knew I would "SPOIL" him and let him ride in a MINI COOPER. I really had a great time taking him with me on vacation. I'm hoping to take him to Denver next.
