My first car was a 1978 Plymouth Volare wagon with faux-wood sides that didn't run right. My dad made me *pay* for it.

 

Give the kid a break. While most of us could only have dreamed of having those cars in our lifetime, he was blessed at the time to own and drive those cars.

He needs a car for school and could've probably have kept the Z4M but actually gave that up to get a Mini.

I just sold my BMW M3 and am looking into getting a Mini myself...I don't think it's a downgrade even though some may think so. I just felt it was time to move on and save a couple bucks in return.
